It is always bitter/sweet when someone comes to stay with us because we always have such an amazing time and then I say goodbye to them and miss them so much! Lisa visited us for nearly two weeks and it went way too fast. She is moving to Santa Monica, California in another months time and decided to stay with us before she left. Mark is already in California working so unfortunately he couldn't come too. I was SO excited when she arrived in the afternoon on Tuesday the 27th and couldn't wait to show her some of our favourite spots in Karratha. When Harrison finished school, we made a quiche and salad and headed to Hearson's Cove for a picnic, Clinton met us there after work. Clinton took most of these beautiful photos.
Harrison loved having a little boy to hang out with...he feels out-numbered by girls in our house!
Gorgeous Charlie...he busily collected rocks throughout the picnic
Finding desert peas
Alissa warmed up to Aunty Lisa straight away I think it's because she looks and talks like me.
Picnic time...you can't tell in these photos but it was really windy!
I think Harrison was making fun of me taking too many photos (as usual)
Love these photos of Lisa and the kids that Clinton took
Beautiful Madison, she'll be breaking hearts one day!
The cousins!
Finding a hermit crab
On Thursday we drove to Dampier and let the kids play at the playground on the beach. They played really well and Lisa and I were able to relax and chat. We then got a yummy lunch from a local café on the way home.
Charlie chasing cheeky seagulls away from our picnic rug!
Alissa enjoying her first ever choc chip muffin...yum!!
Me and my girls
Lisa and Madi-Moo
The cousins played in the sand building "birthday cakes" and singing happy birthday to each other for ages, it was very cute!
There are a lot of posts with Lisa to come...
