Not sure where Alissa picked this up from?!
Checking out the presents already under the tree
Hair still wet from the bath!
Some family wrestling...
Then the kids went off to bed and Santa delivered!!
We were pretty impressed that we didn't hear from this kids until 6am! First we read he nativity story from the bible (much to Sienna's disgust! She's so impatient!). Then Harrison and Sienna put everyone's presents into piles.
The kids opened their Santa present first - Alissa got a purple scooter!
Sienna got a purple polaroid camera and accessories
Harrison got a giant Lego set...he was pretty pleased!
Then they opened their present from us - Sienna got a 'Fur Real' dog
Harrison got a Lakers teeshirt and hat (his basketball team in Karratha are called the Lakers) my Dad got these for him in LA. We also got him 3 tickets to a Wildcats basketball game in Perth when we are there. A special night out for Harrison with just us!
Grammie and Papa gave the kids $50 each to buy gifts for each other. They loved picking the gifts and wrapping them. Sienna giving Harry a hug for his gift! Thanks Grammie and Papa, great idea!!
Harrison's pile of loot!
Stocking time!
Alissa's favourite present - this little toy dog.
Testing out the "purple kooker" scooter!
Christmas lunch/feast!
Clinton made his delicious glazed ham
And the best pork belly ever!!! The crackling was perfection!
I made Aunty Ev's trifle - I had been craving it!
The kids played so nicely all day with their presents - then Alissa fell asleep on the couch. I had a lovely long nap and Clint had a micro nap on the couch too!
Clinton's time lapse video of Christmas morning...
We all had such a happy, relaxing day...then on Boxing Day it was cyclone cleanup and getting the house ready to go away to Perth! We did take our leftovers to the Rodoni's house for dinner that night though which was fun. Merry Christmas!
