Classic Harry

Harry gets up early every morning and it feels even earlier because it's still pitch black outside. We tell him he can turn the lights on in the kitchen and play with his toys...as long as we can keep sleeping a little longer. Even though he does play with his toys for a while he always comes in and out of our room with a variety of requests and comments. This morning was pretty funny...

Harry: (poking me) Mum....Mum....blah, blah, blah...

Mum: (i put my hand up to Harry's face and it feels sticky) Harry, did you get up and eat honey in bread again?

Harry: Yes, very sneaky was I. (starts to walk out of the room)

Mum: Ok...thanks for that Yoda.

Hahahaha! Classic Harry.

sienna's doppelganger

new cousin JACK

These are Sienna and Jack's first photos together...Sienna thought it was HILARIOUS that Jack was crying. Yep...that's the beginning of a beautiful cousin friendship, hehe. I just love their facial expressions.

We have a bit of a cousin pecking order with Harrison being king pin and four years older than everyone. Then Madison who delights in pulling Sienna's hair (who is five months her junior). Then Jack who is five months younger than Sienna...and Lisa's bub-in-the-oven who'll be five months younger than Jack. Phew. Everyone will have someone to pick on...as long as we keep popping babies out every five months. No pressure...

Monday was a public holiday so Clint was able to come to Harry's tennis class. Harrison was so excited to show off all his new learned tennis skills. He still closes his eyes when the ball comes near him but his confidence is gradually growing. We're really proud of him for giving it a go!

Even Sienna got in on the action!

We had such a great day...after tennis we went to Mum and Dad's house and they baby sat all the grandchildren while Clint and I, Lisa and Mark and Matt and Kate went to the movies. It was so much fun  to go out together, buy heaps of popcorn and chocolate and just chill. We were just missing our little brother Jazz! Then we went back to Mum and Dad's for dinner...awesome day! I love my family so much. xx

Harry is such a kind big brother. He's been waiting for a sibling for a long time...

the beginning

ok...this is scary for me. blogging is a scary concept because a) i'm not sure i really have anything to write about and b) i'm not sure i want anyone reading what i write about!

BUT i'll persevere and try to remember why i have started this in the first place. it's to document the many special little moments i'm having with my children. too many phrases and actions are being forgotten and i want to remember it all.

so i'll take a deep breath...tell the perfectionist in my head to shut up...and get started...
