This post has been a long time coming because we have been very busy since we came home from Perth and I have had a mountain of photos to sort through! Yes, as usual this post will be jam-packed with photos. The kids and I had such a wonderful time but it was very busy too. Every day we were running from one thing to another...and I thought two weeks would be plenty of time to take the kids bowling, go to the movies, have several play dates with friends, go to the zoo etc. We did have a few catch ups with friends and we went to the movies twice but as for all the other stuff....next time!
It was so nice staying at my Mum and Dad's house! The kids loved all the attention from Grandma and Papa and I was able to relax and enjoy eating all of Mum's delicious food!
One of the first things the kids did was run to the cubby house at Grandma and Papa's house.
When Charlie saw Harrison for the first time, he followed Harrison around and wanted to wrestle straight away. It was adorable to watch them together!
On the second day we were in Perth we went to Arya's first birthday party at a local park. Even though Harrison hadn't seen Sian and Samara for 6 months - they fell easily into play, like no time had passed. Harrison and Sienna had a great time catching up with them again.
Sienna loves Samara!
And Sianie loved baby Alissa
Later that afternoon we caught up with Lisa, Charlie and Madison and Trent and Lorenzo. The kids loved running around the tennis court and playing together. Lorenzo thought it was fantastic to have so much space to crawl around on! Here is Charlie doing is thing...
Gorgeous Lorenzo
Harrison practising his tennis skills!
Sienna did not want to cooperate for this photo!!
Love this photo of Uncle Trent and Lorenzo looking at Alissa
On Tuesday it was Mum's birthday so Lisa and I organised a babysitter and took Mum into the city to go to Jamie Oliver's Italian Restaurant. They take your mobile number and call you when a table is ready - ours was ready in an hour. We wandered around the shops until we got the call. The food was nice, café kind of quality - not fine dining but the price matched the quality of food. It was lovely to sit and chat together...until Alissa cracked it during dessert! haha!
I love my Mum!
Alissa in her pram watching us eat!
That night the rest of the family came to Mum's house for dinner (Pizza) and cake.
The grandchildren all wanted to sit on Grandma at once!
Uncle Mark and Uncle Jazz
Sienna LOVES Uncle Jazz but pretends to by shy...every time.
Later that week we went to the movies with Candice and her girls and saw 'Monsters University'. Harrison had a great time with his bestie Sian. Shame we didn't get to see them again during our stay, we are looking forward to the seeing them the next time we come to Perth.
