Memories with Papa & Grammie

Sienna, Harrison and Alissa have been so spoilt during Grammie and Papa's visit. Spoilt not only with presents and delicious food and treats but with time. My children will have precious memories of the time their grandparents have spent with them - playing games, giving them cuddles, watching them play, reading them stories, taking them on outings and teaching them new things....

This photo makes me think of hillbillies...Papa sitting on the porch holding a baby, barefooted child playing in the dirt...just missing a large, sleeping dog and a big gun huh Dad? haha!
Alissa showing off her latest trick, using her fingers on her lips to make a reverberating sound. very cute!

This bubby adores her Papa...she has him wrapped around her chubby little finger!
Alissa won't cuddle much anymore, but she did cuddle into Grammie and Papa a few times. I was very jealous!

While Grammie and Papa have been here, Alissa has mastered standing up on furniture and walking around holding on to things. She is a food magnet, if anyone is eating anything at the table or on the couch she is there in a flash to beg for food. Naturally, Grammie and Papa happily oblige her!

 Cheeky Chops!
Sienna feeding scraps off her plate to bubby under the table...I promise we do feed this child properly!
Bubby having a sip of a Macca's "smurf" slushie
The kids love "surf" slushies because their tongues go blue!

 Bubby with a blue mouth!
One Saturday we took a drive to Point Samson for lunch...Alissa enjoyed sampling everyone's food.
Crazy older siblings, always crowding around Alissa!
Harry found his own private table
If there is any music playing, my children start dancing....luckily we were alone at the restaurant.
It was "dinner and a show" provided by my children
These two love their Grammie and Papa
Cooling off with a pink spider
 Those eyes...
 We love Daddy-stay-at-home-days...
It was too hot to swim at the beach but we stopped in to show Dad 'Honeymoon Cove'

Sienna the ballerina had to dip her feet in!
After lunch, I took Mum, Sienna and Alissa home while Dad, Papa and Harrison went fishing...they caught quite a few fish!

Harry will have wonderful memories of Papa teaching him how to fish.

Clinton had a work event on for the engineers at KGP that luckily fell when Grammie and Papa were still here so we had a babysitter!

Just a few iPhone photos too...Clinton bought these miniature pumpkins and helped the kids carve them...this is Harrison's design.
This is Sienna's 'little mermaid' pumpkin - Daddy is very clever!
We didn't go trick or treating as we had the missionaries for dinner (we have a Thai missionary at the moment, and Mum made the most amazing Thai feast!) so the kids dressed up to give out candy to any trick or treaters...none came but Papa let our kids come to the front door and he opened it and  gave them lollies.
Daddy and Papa helped Harrison construct a working model combustion engine. Engineers moulding future engineers...it's a beautiful thing!
We have been having a bit of a frog problem lately...they have been super noisy at night keeping Clint and I awake. Then one day Papa saw that there were hundreds of tiny tadpoles in the kids swimming pool. Harrison and Sienna were so excited...

Funnily enough when Dad emptied the pool...the frog noises (breeding) stopped!
Sienna enjoying a babycino at Halabaloo cafĂ© in Dampier with Grammie and Papa. We then ate lunch at the Palms in Dampier.
Cool baby on the way to Dampier
Harry fishing with Papa another day...great photo by Clint!

Many more photos to come, including photos by Papa! Making lots & lots of happy memories.
