On Sunday after church we started to assemble the Christmas tree but then realised we hadn't brought our lights with us, I suspect they are in one of the many boxes of Christmas decorations I left in storage. So we left the tree until Monday night when we'd bought some new lights. Here are some photos of the children decorating...their joy and excitement was infectious.

Rediscovering the ornaments
Alissa woke up and happily played in her play pen and watched us for a while.
This bauble looks good enough to eat!
Tree at night time
Every year since we got married (2003), Clinton has bought me the Swarovski Christmas ornament for that year. It alternates between a star one year and a snowflake the next. This year was a star...they are such beautiful and precious gifts. One day we will have a tree filled with them. At the moment we keep these ornaments right at the top of the tree so little hands can't grab them. This has been such a special Christmas tradition that Clinton started.
Tree during the day time
It now feels like Christmas with our tree up and some decorations around the house. Very exciting!
