Mamouney's in Mandurah

Clinton's sister Bindi and her two children Mia and Charlie arrived in Mandurah the day after we got there. They currently live in Canberra but they are moving to Dublin, Ireland in July and they decided to come and visit the families in Perth before they go. My kids were beyond excited to see them!
Harrison and Charlie got along straight away, I wish we lived closer as Charlie is only a year older than Harrison and it was so nice to see him playing with a cousin his own age!
Fish and chips for lunch followed by Simmo's ice-cream...

Hot chocolates and cookies to dunk
The next day we took the boat out - the weather was perfect! Zara happily sat in her capsule on the boat.
Sienna, Alissa and Mia with matching hairstyles by Aunty Bindi - Sienna insisted on matching Mia's hair every day!

Charlie having a go at driving the boat
Harrison knee-boarding

Mia having a go at knee-boarding, she did a great job on her first try.

The girls on the 'slob' - going nice and slowly for Alissa

Sienna and Mia going faster without Alissa
Charlie and Harry
Showing off and dancing on the slob

Sienna and Mia's second go on the slob, at one point Sienna flew into the air and just managed to hold on. There are photos of it on Bindi's blog. She was shaking when she got back onto the boat but managed to retain a tough facade and not cry!

Alissa fell asleep on the way home
Harrison is very helpful with getting the boat in and out of the water these days
My parents came down for a night with Jack and Lucy - Dad was showing the boys this fuel powered car. These two fire bugs loved it!

Jack was really interested in how it worked too
Lucy...those eyes...they are amazing
Watching the car run by itself...the boys tried to figure out a way to make it move faster (future engineers?).
