On the morning of Sienna's actual birthday, Harrison and Sienna flew unaccompanied to Hong Kong for a holiday with Grandma and Papa. We got up at 3.30am to get to the airport two hours before their 6.30am flight. They were a little nervous so after checking in we sat down and had breakfast together. It was a weird feeling sending them off on their own overseas. I think I was more nervous than they were!
The day after they arrived in Hong Kong, Grandma and Papa took them to Disneyland. Dad sent me photos which was fantastic! They had a special breakfast with Disney characters that morning.
For Sienna's birthday present, Grandma and Papa took her to the Bibbity, Bobbity Boutique. They did her hair and makeup and she was able to choose which princess she wanted to be. Sienna chose Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She loved all the pampering!

Sienna's professional photos - I think she makes a gorgeous Belle. She got to keep her dress and crown and took home prints of these photos. I can't think of a better present for a seven year old girl! Very spoilt Grandma and Papa!
The kids did so much in the ten days they visited Hong Kong. Grandma and Papa took them somewhere new every day! They bought mini turtles at the markets which they looked after for a week or so. They went to markets, restaurants, play centres, and the list goes on! Grandma and Papa organised a couple of catch ups with our friends from Karratha - the Bembridge Family. Sienna was very excited to see her friend Lucy again.

They really had the best experience going to Hong Kong by themselves and spending special one-on-one time with their grandparents. We really appreciate Grandma and Papa and the amazing example they are setting of service and Christlike love in an overseas location. It's a blessing that they are only one plane ride away and that the older children are able to travel there on their own. Thanks Grandma and Papa, they had the best time!
Lisa and her kids flew in to Hong Kong on their way to Australia for Christmas. They stayed for a couple of days and then Lisa, Grandma and Papa and all the kids flew to Perth together on the 21st of December (Dad's birthday).
