Dad turned 60 the week we were all in Mandurah together. We kept it pretty small with just the family but Dad's one request was we take the boat out that morning.

I love this photo of me and Zara
Lucy loves to touch ear lobes...it's pretty cute
My big boy driving the boat
Gorgeous Monnie
The conditions weren't perfect but Harrison still had a knee board
And Papa had a birthday Ski...
He's in pretty good shape for a 60 year old!
This looks like fun until they were dragged under the water and I jumped into the water in a panic!
Kate and Jack on the back of the boat
Zara was so excited by the boating action that she fell asleep...
It wouldn't be a boating outing without a trip to Simmo's Ice-cream
YUM
Mum and I ordered this lemon curd birthday cake for Dad's birthday, made by a local lady. It wasn't as tangy as we were hoping but still yum.
The plan was to feed the kids early, sing to Papa and eat cake, then send the kids to bed for a quiet adult-only dinner. It didn't quite work like that, the kids were all running around while we were eating!!
Our dinner was yummy though! Clinton flew in for work the night before and was working in the city during the day. He joined us for dinner. All the kids put in to buy Dad a pizza oven to keep at Mandurah.
Even though it didn't all go quite to plan, we hope Dad had a fun birthday. He's such a wonderful example to his children and grandchildren. It was very special being all together to celebrate his 60th (minus the Grinceri's who were missed).
