This post is very late and I'll back date it in my blog.
My parents were travelling to the US to visit my sister Lisa and her family in July. Then my other sister Kate decided to go too as she wanted to visit Houston, Texas to check out some autism schools for Jack. Mum and Dad said everyone should come but Clinton wasn't able to get time off work as he'd just started a new position and had holidays booked in September/October. I wasn't keen on taking my three kids without Clinton as Alissa was still a little too young to be fun to travel with! Jarom and Monique were already going to America at that time of year to travel with my cousin Sophie and her husband Josh, so they made plans to meet up with the family. Then Mum and Dad offered to bring Harrison with them. Harry was SO excited by the idea of going anywhere with Grandma and Papa by himself...let alone America where he'd go to Disneyland and see his cousins.
Harrison flew to Perth by himself on the 16th of July and did really well saying goodbye. It is only a 2 hour flight so I thought he'd be fine but I was still a bit nervous for him. He had a few tears in his eyes when he said goodbye but was happy once he got on the plane.
Aunty Darnae picked up Harry at Perth airport as my Mum was already in America with Kate, Matt and their kids. Harrison had a lovely day at Darnae and Trent's house playing with his cousin Renz, eating mac and cheese and playing with Uncle Trent. They put him to bed around 7pm and woke him up when my Dad had finished a work meeting 9.30pm. Harrison was really out of it when they woke him up! They drove him to Papa's house and then Papa and Harry got on a midnight flight to Sydney. Before they got on the plane they went to the Qantas Chairman's Lounge for a late night feast, Harrison thought it was awesome!
Plane selfie! Dad said Harrison slept a few hours.
Next morning in Sydney's Chairman's Lounge having a rather delicious breakfast. They called me and I was so relieved to hear Harrison's voice...I was already missing him!
On the long flight to L.A. Harrison claims he barely slept but Papa said he slept a bit. Unfortunately at one stage Papa nodded off and Harrison thought it would be funny to wake him up...Papa wasn't able to get back to sleep after that! They arrived in L.A. and met up with everyone at Lisa's house. Lisa had Kate, Matt, Jack and Lucy staying at her house so Papa, Grandma and Harry stayed at a nearby hotel with Jarom and Mon and Sophie and Josh. That first day, they took Harrison to 'Six Flags' a theme park full of scary roller coasters! Harrison went on a really scary one and was a bit put off roller-coasters after that!
Harrison got to be there for Madison's fourth birthday party - an Aladdin theme - he was very excited! All the following photos are Harrison's photos, we gave him a camera before he left as an early birthday present. He edited them himself too.

I was really excited to pick Harrison up from the airport...I'd missed him so much! He'd been gone for 2 weeks!! Once home he quickly opened his case to give us presents and show us his souvenirs. Here is a car he got to build at Disneyland - it's remote controlled and Harrison got to choose all the colours and styling. It was his birthday present from Grandma and Papa and he loves it!
