School Holidays - Week Two (Part One)

Towards the end of the first week of the school holidays I was texting Clinton's sister Tammy. I said she should come the following week to Karratha and much to my excitement she said she would! Tam took the week off work and flew into Karratha on the Sunday of the second week of holidays. We picked her up in  the afternoon and dropped Clinton at the airport at the same time. He was flying to Perth for work for a couple of nights. Harrison and Sienna were so excited to see Aunty but Alissa was of course very shy. This was her face all the way home from picking up Aunty from the airport...
Alissa soon warmed up a bit when Aunty gave her a present...she is so generous with the kids and spoils them way too much!

Aunty gave Harrison a Lego Technic kit...he got to building it straight away!

Sienna loved playing with her princess play dough set from Aunty
Alissa cracking open pistachio nuts with her little fingers...I found her next to the cupboard like this!
 Aunty's loom band from Harrison
Aunty did lots of pushing Sienna on the swing and spinning her...

On Monday morning we decided to go to the Leisureplex...although I was worried it might be too cold (Tam thought that was hilarious as it's still in the mid to high 20's up here). However, most Karratha residents must feel the same way, as we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves - and it was school holidays!

I know he's not smiling but I love this photo...he looks so grown up!

We then stayed at the Leisureplex for lunch and Alissa was giving Aunty the cutest cheesy smiles!

 Slushies for everyone!

Tam was so patient with the kids and played lots of board games and Sienna made up games!
On Monday night we had family home evening followed by Tim Tam slams. The kids had never done Tim Tam slams before so Clinton and I told them we'd do them after our next FHE. Aunty showing them how it's done...

 Harrison LOVED it!
Sienna found the whole thing a bit too messy and politely dipped hers in the hot chocolate and ate it

Aunty was very brave and ventured on the trampoline with my crazy kids...they love being tickled!

On Tuesday afternoon we went to the park for a play...

Alissa was still not giving Aunty cuddles but would happily play with her

Sienna made Aunty play shops for a long time
Aunty did an amazing job of pushing both kids at the same time without her walking stick for balance...she makes having MS look easy...even though it's horrible for her!
The next morning we took Harrison to the airport and said goodbye to him - he left for an overseas trip with my parents and brother and sisters in America. Harrison was sad to leave Aunty, knowing she was staying on for a few more days in Karratha. More to come on Harry's adventure soon...
