Family Picnic

One of the best things about living in such a hot climate is that the evenings are always warm and balmy. Our kids can wear their bathers and not get cold - even when the sun has set! So we take advantage of this weather and have lots of family picnics on the beach. I haven't taken my camera the last few times so here are a few photos from a week ago.

My little dessert flower

Ok, so I kind of love these photos of Sienna so I included all three... it is so her at the moment...swinging from one mood to another! It certainly keeps me on my toes!

Harry and Daddy checking out the rock pools with Daddy's work in the background.
Alissa LOVES the beach - the sand, the water but she doesn't like walking on sharp rocks and shells. She was trying to follow the kids in the rock pools and her face sums up how her feet were feeling! I put her shoes back on.
 That's my happy girl!
She is really enjoying digging in the sand with a shovel at the moment...very cute to watch.

The kids play so happily when we go on our picnics...we are going to miss Karratha beaches one day

Clinton's Weekend Visit to Perth

Clinton visited us in Perth on our last weekend there. Originally he had planned to come in the middle of our stay but was told at the last minute that he was needed at work. We were pretty disappointed but luckily he was able to transfer his flights to the Australia Day weekend instead. Clinton arrived on Friday night - the kids were SO excited to see him when he walked off the plane. They couldn't stop laughing at his shaved head too! The next day we took the boat out (of course!)...

I love it when these two do stuff like this...

My view...wish my legs would tan!
 Sienna watching the sea...

 Clinton's selfie!

Papa water skiing on a single ski...not bad for an old man! haha!

Clinton had a wake board

 And a knee board...
 Papa's turn

Papa's trick - doing a 360! I don't know how he does it when we're going that fast!
Success!

And a wakeboard

 Look...no hands!
 Ahhh...time for a rest...
They love having a sleep on the boat
 Funny Harry!
On Saturday night Clinton and I went to the movies and saw the second Hunger Games movie, finally! Then on Sunday we went to our old ward and saw Jonathan give his farewell talk for his mission. He was really happy to have his old Bishop there. It was Australia Day so we decided to go watch the fireworks from Lake Munga. Clinton grabbed a few photos with no tripod - not bad!

Dad and Clinton love having a game of tennis

Harry got this chair and set himself up as the "ball boy" - so cute!
The kids had a swim with Daddy then they sunbathed on the tennis court.
 Ahhhhh....
So that is the last of my Perth photos...phew! We got there! We had such a fun, relaxing time. My Mum babysat a lot so I could go to the temple, socialise, and shop!!! I am so appreciative of all the time Grandma and Papa spent with us, we had a fantastic break. xx
