Dirt Bike Rides

Quite a few weeks ago now we were invited to Hearson's Cove for a bbq with the Baker and the Dimitrov/Grant families. Miha Grant brought his dirt bike along and the kids had so much fun having rides on it (I know, they aren't wearing helmets but they were going very slowly and carefully). Clinton got some drone footage which I'll add if I can get if off him.

Exploring the rock pools
The kids constantly chased the dirt bike around
Alissa had no fear and couldn't wait to go for a spin!

Rev head Reevey!

Indy watching and getting into character for her ride! haha!

Sienna was a little more wary but loved it once she was going!

Sonja and Deanna - gorgeous young women from our branch. The kids love it when they babysit.
Daddy and daughter stroll
Miha and Serena's little boy Khan
Don't let Harry's tame face fool you, he loved every second and would kill for a dirt bike of his own!
Miha is Harrison's primary teacher and he thinks he's the coolest!
Harry exploring the rocks
Bon fire smores
Witnessing another beautiful staircase to the moon...Clinton didn't have a tripod but still managed to take some lovely photos! We saw the Pilkington's around the bon fire time too...it was like a branch activity!

Athletics Carnival & Inter-school Carnival

The day after the 'book week' dress up day we had the school sports carnival (it was a busy week). Harrison is in Burrup (blue faction) so the girls sprayed their hair blue to support him and Sienna painted her face with blue zinc.
Can you spot Harrison in the middle?
It was a hot day so luckily we were able to sit under someone else's shade tent.
Sienna had a little race with her fellow kindy kids

She slowed down as the finish line approached but ran really well!

Harrison's 1st division 50 metre race

He came third - well done Harry!

Harrison's 100 metre race in 1st division
He came third again with exactly the same boys getting the same places!

Harrison ended up with four third ribbons after doing relay races. I was really proud of how hard he ran in all his races! As he was in 1st division he was asked to participate in the inter-school carnival two weeks later. I went for the beginning to watch his sprint race and a few of the group games. I missed his relay race at the end of the day though.
Throwing and catching race
Harrison's 100 metre race - it was a fast race and I think he ran the hardest he's ever run. He didn't get a place but it was very close.

Book Week

These photos were taken in August...I am months behind in my blogging! Book week at school was a no brainer this year, Harrison and Sienna are committed Harry Potter fans. Harrison wore his cloak, scarf and tie from Aunty Lisa and Sienna borrowed a cloak from Georgia. I think they make a fantastic Hermione and Harry!

Sienna's hair is SO long and thick!
