SuperFoiler Race

Dad invested in a company building a new type of racing yacht - called a 'SuperFoiler.' They are lighter and faster than an ordinary racing yacht and can lift up high above the water making it look like they are floating along the surface. The SuperFoilers had races in most of the capital cities and our family was invited to attend the races in Perth. Kate, Clinton, Harrison and I drove to Busselton together. Paige babysat my kids in the morning then Trent and Darnae came to our house in the afternoon and kindly looked after the kids until we got home that night. The cousins ha a great time playing and swimming in the pool together!

Harry loved watching the races and we even bought him a SuperFoilers hat!

As you can see, once the wind catches the sails the SuperFoiler lifts above the water and can achieve speeds of more than 40 knots! 

Unfortunately the wind was a little on and off that day but we still saw some great action.

I know I'm biased but Clinton is one good looking man!!! 

Alissa had a birthday party to go to that Saturday and one of the Mum's at school kindly picked her up and brought her home at the end. This is a photo she took of them going to the party. 

We had a fabulous time at the SuperFoilers race and hope that the sport builds some momentum in Australia and throughout the world.
