Harrison's 10th Birthday

Harrison turned 10 years old in September and was spoilt with some lovely presents and even American dollars for him to spend on our upcoming holiday. Harry thought about having a birthday party but we decided that going to the US with me later that week was better than any party! Harrison chose ribs and potato bake for his birthday dinner. Then his favourite lemon cake for his birthday cake - I took video footage of him blowing out the candles but didn't get a photo.

Harrison has a new nickname in our house, it's "dependable Harry" because we can always depend on Harrison to do his jobs without being asked, to do his homework and help out whenever we need him to and basically make good choices the majority of the time. He's a hard worker and we're so proud of all his achievements over the past year. He took on the challenge to read the entire Book of Mormon and was only a couple of months off being finished by his birthday. We couldn't be prouder of our boy and love him so much. It's hard to believe he's double digits already...
