Island Discovery

About three weeks ago the Rodoni's and our family took our boats out to explore some more of the islands along the Dampier Archipelago. There are so many little islands and beaches to explore, it was hard to choose which one to stop at. We drove a fair distance and stopped at an isolated stretch of beach along one of the larger islands (not sure of the name of this one). It was an overcast day but perfect weather to explore rock pools and look for shells.

I'm trying to get that dummy out of her mouth...
Pulling funny faces!

Emi and I took Harry, Milly and Tom to explore the rock pools nearby.

We found lots of these pretty crabs dead in the pools

Harry later put this "basket" on his head and it fell off and scratched his face
Shells as big as your head!

While the boys were off exploring Emi found this GIANT shell! It was so heavy!!

Emi had a go!

You can see Harry's scratches on his cheek

The water was like glass when we left...Clint said we should have brought the wakeboard along! We got rained on as we drove home but we'd had a really lovely day.
