Aunty and Uncle Will Visit - Cooking Up A Storm

A few days after Mum and Dad left Karratha, Aunty Tammy and Uncle Will arrived from Melbourne. The kids were really excited to have more visitors so quickly. Aunty knows that Sienna loves baking and often asks me if she can "cook up a storm" a phrase she learnt from a children's cooking show. She would love to be a "cooker" like Aunty, Grammie and Grandma one day. Aunty brought lots of baking supplies and got cooking with the kids as soon as she arrived. She even provided the girls with these adorable chefs outfits.

Last days with Grandma and Papa Visit

Here are a few photos from the last days with Grandma and Papa in Karratha. My apologies, I don't remember many of the details of these last days! This is the problem with blogging months after events happen.

Here are some pictures of the kids bike riding with Papa, Alissa loves being in the little bike carrier and Harrison enjoys being the "driver"!

Off with Papa down the street, just as Daddy was driving home.
We went for a quick boating trip to Rosemary Island on the last Saturday that Mum and Dad were in town, we saw few whales on our way!
Harrison brought a big shovel in order to dig some serious holes with Papa.

The quest for finding interesting shells never ends

Zara is just there for the food!

Harry drove the jet ski home for a short distance

On Saturday night Mum, Sienna, Alissa and I met up with Rebekah Harcourt at the Twilight Markets in the city centre. We ate pizza for dinner and enjoyed the little market stalls. Mum was able to catch up with Rebekah who moved to Karratha a few months earlier. Then on Sunday evening we had a BBQ at Hearson's Cove and invited Rebekah and the Baker family. For some reason I didn't take many photos that night, except for these ones of Zara catching bubbles with Georgia.

Zara loves Georgia - they have had a special bond since she was born.

Sadly we said goodbye to Grandma and Papa on Monday morning, I got this quick photo of them before the kids left for school. They are such amazing grandparents to our children and have special relationships with them all. We are grateful they spent a week of their time with us in the Pilbara.

Grandma and Papa Visit - Sam's Island

We decided to take Grandma and Papa to Sam's Island for lunch one day, they hadn't been there before and it's an interesting little Island to explore. We picked up lunch from a local cafe in Dampier and then took the short boat ride to Sam's.
